We kicked it off with the party anthem [KINISUNNA! feat. MC MOGGYY] in September, raising hands all over the Japan. In October we raised hell with [B.O.P.E.], an XXXSSS Tokyo flip on Brazilian bashment, but with waaaaay more woodblock.

Now it’s November and we’re here to raise your pulse with [Porra], a wonky tropical bruk parade to make your peers giggle at your antics. Porra is a Brazilian swear word the meaning of which is best googled when your mom isn’t home. Porra is also a hybrid baby of West African Kuduro and London Grime beamed into the echoey shadows of amazon jungle.
There’s swearwords, gunshots and guncocks, all kinds of snares, the most gangster use of wonky whistling you’ve ever heard and even a climactic reference to Facebook sexting. Whoa, right?!!! Yeah... We know, we made it! :)

今年9月の改名後、立て続けにリリースした2枚のシングル「キニスンナ! feat. MC MOGGYY」、「B.O.P.E. 」も好評を博しているXXXSSS Tokyoのニューシングル「Porra」は、相手を罵る時に使用されるブラジルのス ラングから引用したタイトル(正式な発音は“ポハ”)の通り、緊張感漂う攻撃性の高いインストチューン。

アマゾンの密林の中を駆け巡るような疾走感がありながらも、グライムの鳴りとクドゥーロ(Kuduro)の勢い も兼ね備え、さらにトロピカルなフレイバーや絶妙なユーモアのセンスをも織り交ぜた、まさにXXXSSS Tokyo ならではのスタイルが貫かれたベースサウンドが完成している。
